Dr Shailendra Shettennavar joined Infinitus Clinical Research India as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for clinical operations in India and China. He holds a Medical degree from Jawaharlal Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka and a postgraduate degree in Clinical Research. He has more than 14 years of clinical experience and more than 5 years in the global biopharmaceutical industry. He has participated in various global clinical trials in different capacities. He served as Chairperson of Vision India Trust since 1999 and has conducted various public health projects and successfully compiled a Blood Group Directory for smaller towns and industries Belgaum District. In collaboration with Indian Express News Daily, Shailendra successfully initiated State Wide Talent Search. With his extensive knowledge and interest in anthropology and Indian history he has completed projects on Indian tribes such as the Toda and Khasi

Shailendra was selected for Civil Services from the State of Karnataka. His interest in research and drive for quality healthcare led him back to the field of clinical research. He did his Post Graduation in Business Management from the Regional Institute of Cooperative Management in Bangalore, India and Quality Assurance and Compliance from the Bioinformatics Institute of India. A quality oriented person himself; he motivates the organization to follow the mission, “Provide high quality clinical research with an acute focus on patient safety, emerging technologies and new research processes” to the core.
